Know Your Limits

ELIGIBLE GUNS & EQUIPMENT
This shoot is designed around .22lr scoped rifles capable of shooting 8 aimed shots in less than one minute.
Bolt rifles and semiauto rifles both magazine and tube fed would be the norm. Single shot rifles could be used, but no additional time allowance would be allotted.
Scopes will be 10 power or less, and variables MUST be set down below that power. If there are large discrepancies between scores, separate categories may be added such as a Sporter Class Only.

22LR ammo in Standard Velocity and High Velocity are allowed.
NO HYPER VELOCITY ALLOWED.
COURSE OF FIRE
The “Know Your Limits” course of fire calls for firing at a series of 8 steel swinging targets, in order from largest to smallest, in 5 relays.

-
Only one competitor may fire at a time.
-
Competitors may use their own Front Bipod OR the Club supplied Caldwell Green bag.
-
No scope adjustments are allowed after firing the first shot in that relay.
-
One fouling shot will be allowed, as long as you announce it in advance to the Scorekeeper/Spotter.
-
The use of a rear bag is prohibited.
-
The targets are 2”, 1 ¾”, 1 ½”, 1 ¼”, 1”, ¾”, ½”, and ¼”.
-
All record shots will be fired from the designated bench only.
Scores are 10 points for each disc hit and may call stop at their discretion. If a shooter misses a disc all points earned are forfeited and is counted “0” for that relay.
Example- Competitor one shoots and hits 5 of the discs but decides to stop at that point. That Competitor scores 50 points for that relay. Competitor two shoots and hits 6 discs but misses their 7th disc. Competitor Tw scores 0 points for that stage of the match.

When each competitor finishes their turn firing a stage, they must ensure that their rifle is unloaded, and put an ECU in the chamber prior to removing their rifle from the bench.

After all competitors complete firing all stages of the match, the competitor with the highest overall total will be declared the winner!

All shooting will be from Bench 10, and you must be ready to follow the previous shooter in a timely manner.
Adult Members and Guests are welcome,
Juniors that can demonstrate their ability to safely shoot and follow directions are also.
Juniors MUST be accompanied by an adult.
